Emergency Availment Procedure
Things needed:
· HMO Card
· Valid Government ID or Company ID
Step 1:
First, verify if the hospital is accredited with your HMO card.
Step 2:
If the hospital is accredited, proceed to the hospital's admission section. If not, visit an accredited hospital to prevent cash-out payments and denied claims. You can find the list of accredited facilities for each HMO by clicking below:
Step 3:
Please proceed to the Emergency Room admission area, complete the required form, and kindly notify the hospital personnel that you are a member of an HMO. Remember to present your HMO card upon arrival.
Step 4:
Continue with the necessary treatment.
NOTE:
-LOA is not required during emergency case, treatment first policy will apply.
-The hospital is in-charged with the LOA before discharged.
-Treatment will be by triage, if in case that there is a huge volume of emergency cases, hospital staff will prioritize the more severe case. Availment will be subject to hospital guidelines.
-Non-emergency case availed in an Emergency Room will not be covered and will be charged to members. **For hospitals with an outpatient department within the emergency room, the expenses will be covered, and no immediate payment will be required.
-Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) is not covered by our HMO coverage.
